DD

I must start documenting my dark daughter's thoughts.  She's so animated, a little twisted, and hilarious.  And she's only 4.
Today's conversation:
DD:  I want to go to the pool.
Me:  We can't.  A storm is coming.
DD:  Why do we sit ahind (translation~behind) the stairs?
Me:  We don't.  We sit in the basement.
DD:  No!  We sit ahind the stairs for nodoes (tornadoes).
Me:  Maybe at preschool?  We don't do that here.
DD:  Yes we do!
Me:  No, we can't sit behind our stairs here.
DD:  Yeeeessss!  We do when nadoes come.
Me:  Okay.  (My standard response when I can see the conversation is going nowhere.)
DD:  We sit ahind the stairs \cause nadoes have creepy faces.  The faces will eat you! AAAAHHHH (runs screaming out of the room).

Me:  ooookaaay.

And Jack Makes 5

Megan had her first baby on December 26 at 1:49 a.m.....almost a Christmas baby.  Jack Robert Martin shares a birthday with Uncle Dan.  I think he will appreciate not having to celebrate his birthday on Christmas.  Here are the "before he was born" shots:

 Jack weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long.  He's a little cutie.  Take a look...
