So, I'm blogging. Not sure why. I'm not even sure of the appeal. What does call to me is writing. and journaling. So, for this new year, I'm going to write my thoughts, experiences, etc...
We are on day 3 with no hot water. Not really as bad as I thought. Have boiled 8 large pots of water today to bathe. Feeling vintage without the vintage smell. Because of the holiday, Happy New Year!, probably won't have hot water until Monday (it's Thursday). Luckily, spending festive evening with dear friends who will loan tub to bathe smelling children.
There are 3 of them, by the way. The 7 year old girl, 5 year old boy, and 12 month old girl. and a pretty good husband. very good. Life has thrown some big surprises my way this past year, but it's all good. Maybe I'll share that later. Enough for one day.
